yell at (someone) : 누구를 야단치다.
get yell at : 야단 맞다.
ex) I got yelled at at work today.
ex) My boss yelled at me today at work. 오늘 상사한테 혼났어.
ex) My girlfriend yelled at me today. 오늘 여자친구한테 혼났어.
ex) I got yelled at by my girlfriend today. 오늘 여자친구한테 야단 맞았어.
3. I mad someone mad.
I got mad at me.
'누구한테 혼났다' 라고 얘기하는 다른 방식
I made my girlfriend mad. 여자친구를 화나게 했어.
She got mad at me. 그녀가 나한테 화를 냈어.
A : Are you mad because of what Billy said yesterday?
너 어제 빌리가 한 말 때문에 화났어?
B : No
A : So, you're not mad at Billy?
B : No. I'm mad at myself. I'm angry that I didn't say anything.
아니, 내 자신에게 화가 나. 내가 아무 말도 안한게 화나.
get in(to) trouble
ex) I got trouble with my parents for sneaking out last night.
ex) I've gotten in trouble, Dave. Is there any way you could lend me some money?
ex) Is it true that Kelly's gotten into trouble? I knew that boyfriend of hers was bad news!
get into trouble
ex) I think we might get into trouble if we try driving the car on that rickety bridge.
ex) If you ever get into trouble out in the water, wave both your arms so the lifeguard can see you.
ex) I am definitely going to get into trouble with my mom if she finds out that I broke the vase.
yell at
ex) Don't you dare yell at my chiildren that way.
ex) He stood in the field yelling at the night sky for all of his misfortunes.
ex) I had to yell my instructions at the engineers below me due to the high winds.
ex) Please don't yell those things at me.
ex) He stood on the porch, yelling curses at a dog on his lawn.
ex) Please don't yell at me.
